eve bit the apple

When we resist the most obvious reasons

When we deny the absolute truths

When we find what is non-existent

And fail to see what is there

When we distort the facts

And try to see truth in the lies

When we ignore the warning signs

Head even the red light

When we defend even what is unfair

And deny justice to ourselves

To fit in the order that we want

To suit what we desire

It’s madness not love.

  2. They stay a good relationship is not a burden to carry but it's rather light and comforting though we do need a little bit of madness to make things a bit interesting.

  4. In the human mind, there is hairlike gap between justifying the end by the means and vice versa. But, yes sometimes warnings or signs are made to be broken, as what they say :)

  5. Love defies gravity as I always utter to those having this emotion. In love, the mind and heart must agree in all things.

  6. Oh denial is such a strong word.. it's often used to mask the truths in life especially when it comes to 'love'..

  9. Well, I always wonder if Eve didn't eat the Apple.

  10. love needs obedience too. in Eve's case, she wasn't obedient to God. therefore she didn't love God. you can't just show love, obedience and love must go together.

  16. Unfortunately, telling that to someone who's already 'mad' gets you nowhere. True (sad) story.

  17. Love conquers all. Even God, well in Eve's situation. Ever wonder what's gonna happen if didn't bite the apple?

  18. I think even the most intelligent person will fail to rationalize some actuations when they are in love. We often choose not to look at reality and regret it later on.

  19. Unfortunately, more and more people are falling deeply in love that they almost lose their minds. This is a very critical state. This will either strengthen their love, but it may also be a very big failure to the part of the lover.

  21. I once 'bit the apple' but I've learned the lesson, the hard way. People should be wise and not be led by temptation.

  23. love is about doing the very best you can to do something good for a special person. if you cannot give an effort for that there's definitely no love at all!

  24. Madness indeed if not foolishness as love is what's described in Chorinthians 13:4 - 7.

  25. I've been reading really good poems here. I remember the time that students are into writing poems and love letters to give to their crushes. What a creative way to express one's emotions. I wish poetry writing can be promoted again in schools.
